Position Description
Tacoma Power's Power Management division is looking for a Principal Energy Management Engineer to join their Business Customer Energy Solutions team. In this role you will develop and deliver energy conservation programs and secure energy efficiency measures with Tacoma Powers commercial and industrial customers by conducting engineering technical activities. This work is critical to achieving energy conservation targets and providing other energy-related services for the commercial and industrial sectors for Tacoma Powers Business Customer Energy Solutions section.

Qualifications
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or directly related field. M echanical engineering degree preferred.
Minimum Experience
4 years of progressively responsible professional level engineering experience.
Licensing, Certifications and Other Requirements

Other Employment Information
Direct Deposit : Employees are paid on a bi-weekly schedule by direct deposit.
Salary Increases : Based on satisfactory job performance, the City provides for a regular progression of salary increases for most classifications according to the salary schedule.
Union Affiliation : Many job classifications are covered by union security provisions which require union membership, dues, or payment of equivalent service fees.
