The Role

Joining Balfour Beatty as a Superintendent you will lead large-scale commercial construction projects ranging from $50 million to $350 million. You will have deep field leadership experience, as well as the ability to deliver high-performance results on technically challenging and high-profile projects ensuring quality, profitability, and adhering to our Safety / Zero Harm culture.

Essential Functions

• Field Leadership : Manage all daily site operations including supervision of subcontractors, coordination of construction activities, enforcement of safety protocols, and execution of the project schedule.
• Schedule Management : Develop and maintain detailed look-ahead schedules; drive progress to meet critical milestones and proactively resolve conflicts and delays.
• Quality Assurance : Ensure all work is performed to high standards, in accordance with plans, specifications, building codes, and owner requirements.
• Safety Oversight : Enforce site safety policies and maintain compliance with OSHA and company standards; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Team Coordination : Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, consultants, and client representatives to maintain alignment and ensure clear communication.
• Inspections & Reporting : Coordinate with local authorities for inspections and approvals; maintain daily logs, safety documentation, and progress reports.
