Our client, a leader in innovative vehicle manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be an essential part of the Manufacturing Quality team supporting the production and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will enable success within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Hayward, CA (fully onsite)

Pay Range: $80-84/h + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Develop and integrate quality and functional checks into the manufacturing process to ensure high standards.

• Conduct root-cause analysis for assembly-related issues to identify and resolve underlying problems.

• Develop, implement, and optimize End-of-Line (EOL) testing processes to enhance product quality.

• Create and maintain PFMEAs and control plans to support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements, collaborating cross-functionally to resolve supplier quality or design issues.

What's Needed?

• Engineering Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.

• 6-8 years of experience in quality or manufacturing engineering roles.

• Experience with creating FMEA processes, Control Plans, and APQP documentation.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with international quality standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9000.
