PABCO Roofing is looking for our next Engineering Manager . This could be you if you value building trusting, Meaningful Relationships, and are an expert in project management, with a background in manufacturing. This is a demanding but fulfilling position in our Asphalt Shingle plant located on The Port of Tacoma. - Supervises the Engineering team, checking their finished work and offering mentorship and guidance on desired outcomes.
- Ensures departmental project and job planning meets the needs of the plant.
- Creates and maintains training plans to keep staff up to date on equipment and changing technology.
- Utilizes PM and CMMS systems, and all avenues of communication, to keep key stakeholders up to date about project.
- Uses education and experience to create long-term plans for Engineering capital improvements and presents the business case for these improvements to plant leadership.
- Trains, promotes, disciplines, and terminates subordinate personnel.
- Skilled communication and relationship management exercised with vendors, contractors, and plant personnel.
- Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- Manages Projects & Contractors for Capital Projects
