McClure Engineering is searching for a Mechanical Engineering student to be a part of our 8-month Co-Op Program.
As a part of the Co-Op program here at McClure, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to cutting-edge projects in the field of mechanical engineering. You will work closely with our team of experienced engineers and designers, learning from their expertise and applying your knowledge to real-world challenges. This Co-Op will provide you with valuable insights into the industry and help you develop essential skills for your future career in mechanical engineering.
Key Responsibilities :
- Solve problems of a complex nature, in both the design and construction phases of the project
- Perform energy and load calculations, airflow and pressure drop calculations, equipment sizing, system design and layout
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical Drafter / Designers on the production of construction documents (drawings and specifications)
- Research commercially available equipment and selecting equipment appropriate for project / client needs
- Perform field inspections to verify existing site conditions
- Capacity to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Learn multiple engineering calculations to be implemented on multiple projects
- Provide excellent communication to stakeholders and team members
- Build relationships with industry professionals and fellow Co-Ops through networking events and company activities
