Responsibilities :
- Visit and assess Marmon facilities to review automation opportunities and understand current operations with senior staff.
- Research automation technologies and solutions for a specified application.
- Compare technologies based on cost, functionality, lead time, support level, reliability, and other factors.
- Prototype technologies and processes.
- Design, build, and implement simple technologies in-house without the use of an integrator by leveraging existing engineering expertise.
- Use learnings from site visits and prototype system builds to write bid specifications for integrator-built systems.
- Support equipment buy-off and activities to bring new equipment online.
- Work with the IIoT team to implement connectivity and data collection.
- Assist in project management efforts from scope development through system delivery.
- Help maintain project budgets and schedule.
- Inquisitive nature & self-starter who can implement with minimal guidance.

Sophomore or Junior pursuing an engineering or engineering technology degree in :
Additional Requirements :
Preference to be based at a Marmon Transportation Company within the United States & multiple work semesters.
