Engineering PD Lead
Stickley is a leader in the furniture manufacturing and retail industries, with brands that are respected and cherished worldwide. With over 120 years in furniture manufacturing, and more than 90 years as a furniture retailer, Stickley is the proud employer of nearly 900 talented individuals. We have three manufacturing facilities, multiple Stickley Audi corporate-owned retail showrooms, and a global distribution network.
As the Engineering PD Lead at the Archdale, NC facility, you will be responsible for Supervising the Pattern making team during the developing of upholstery procedures, patterns and prototypes for Stickley's retail, contract and OEM introduction. You will work on the design team to develop Manufacturing friendly designs while ensuring that production procedures efficiently utilize materials & personnel, and that the finished product meets the highest quality & specification standards of the cherished Stickley brand.
Requirements and Qualifications :
- 5+ years of Product development experience.
- Upholstery pattern making experience.
- Must be well versed in Upholstery materials and assembly processes / procedures.
- Must possess and demonstrate mastery of software systems such as AutoCad, Excel, Microsoft systems.
- Excellent time-management, project management and organizational skills
- Experience in MRP systems is a plus
