Overview :

Mead & Hunt is looking for a Senior Food and Beverage Packaging Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading projects teams that develop innovative packaging solutions to meet our clients unique challenges.

Responsibilities :

Ideal candidates will have experience optimizing packaging line operations in order to drive lower capital costs, increased automation, and simpler processes, and more effective / efficient process performance. Additional responsibilities include managing equipment suppliers, creating performance specifications, drafting layouts for new or modified packaging line layouts, developing packaging scopes of work, performing mass flow balances of a manufacturing line, and supporting manufacturing line start up and troubleshooting to achieve required performance. Travel is required.

Qualifications :

The successful candidate must have all of the following :

• BS in Mechanical, Chemical, and / or Packaging engineering or related field from an accredited school or college and
• 6 years of relevant engineering design or operations experience. (food plant experience)
