Job description

PURPOSE

POSITION

We are seeking an Engineering Technician to perform moderately complex test procedures and troubleshooting techniques on electromechanical sub-assemblies and complete systems to ensure compliance with company standards. This is an on-site role in our Boston, MA office.

Key Responsibilities and Objectives:

Resolves deficiencies identified during test procedures to restore systems to acceptable operational standards.
Assists in the development of test and repair procedures to meet quality specifications.
Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of Manufacturing.•
Performs acceptance testing of incoming electronics, PCBAs, modules, and components.
Software installation, data downloading, and data entry of test results.
Assists Technical Services in troubleshooting and repair of returned systems.
Supports prototype electronics assembly and test.
PCBA assembly troubleshooting and rework.

Requirements

Qualifications

Specialized training and/or Associates degree preferred.
3-5 years of experience in building, testing, troubleshooting and repair of electronics.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with high voltage electronics.
Experience with X-Ray systems is preferred.
