Job Title : Design Engineering Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design, control, and implement mechanical structures and products with a focus on aerospace and industrial connector contacts.
• Develop manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards.
• Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time.
• Work with customers and team members to define product needs and requirements.
• Ensure that installations and applications align with customer needs and safety standards.
• Conduct research to create new applications and processes.
• Summarize data and report on test results.
• Maintain functionality of Process and / or Product Development Engineer duties in assigned areas.
• Examine needs for new equipment, calculate costs, and help prepare budgets.
• Continuously improve company products and processes.
• Attend or designate coverage for production stand-up, waste, value stream team, product management, and factory project planning meetings.
• Lead engineering team meetings for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Drive actions and monitor the progress of engineer and engineering technician activities in support of product qualification and value stream team objectives.
• Ensure the utilization of formal documentation techniques.
• Execute the departmental administrative duties related to attendance, conditional release of purchase requisitions, and performance management systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $135000.00 - $155000.00 / yr.
