It requires the versatility that includes project management, project engineering, and regular customer interaction. The EPE is responsible for the project planning and execution throughout the product development lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing project and customer requirements, working closely with multiple disciplines on the project (design engineering, drafting, test engineering, procurement, operations, assembly & test, and quality), and the customer. The candidate will have a technical background and be able to manage assigned projects from initial launch through the first stage of production, and provide further support and guidance as required. The candidate will ensure the designs meet program cost, schedule, and performance requirements for the customer and maintain the revenue forecast and timing for the company. Personal characteristics of the candidate must include honesty, self-awareness, and vulnerability, along with great communications skills and ability to work well with multiple groups of individuals. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow and maintain schedule adherence with engineering and assembly and test.
  • Keep management (engineering, purchasing, quality, business development, contracts, finance) current on key activities as required.
  • Be hands on and willing to work in the shop environment to build prototypes and support production issues.
  • Ensure and validate compliance to all technical customer requirements.
  • Significantly high engagement with our customers.
  • All other duties as assigned by manager.
