Job Title : Engineering Project Manager

Job Description

The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and timely execution of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer expectations. This role involves guiding project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, managing resources, budgeting, and technical expertise allocation. The position also promotes a collaborative and innovative work environment, fostering continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and streamline manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Further business development by collaborating with sales to provide customer solutions and develop technical sales aids.
• Plan and formulate aspects of research and development proposals, including project objectives, applications, costs, and resource requirements.
• Oversee key projects, processes, and performance reports, analyzing data and reporting findings.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, and production teams to improve quality and processes related to new product development.
• Engage in new product development using design for manufacture, assembly, and serviceability methodologies.
• Develop and maintain company engineering and drawing standards.
• Serve as the administrator of the company's PDM vault.
• Manage engineering and product development projects as required.
• Establish priorities for design and drafting activities.
• Identify and develop cost reduction projects.
• Confer with management, production, sales, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
• Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to achieve goals and integrating technical activities.
• Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to assess project feasibility.
• Direct, review, and approve product design and changes.
• Coordinate with management and sales teams to resolve budget and delivery issues.
• Stay informed of current projects, production workload, and processes, resolving any production or processing problems.

Work Environment

The employee will work on-site Monday through Friday and may be exposed to noise, high temperatures, low temperatures, workplace hazards, and atmospheric exposures like dusts and fumes. The role requires the ability to handle these conditions while maintaining safety and efficiency.
