POSITION SUMMARY :
The Manager of Engineering is responsible to the Director of Engineering to oversee the daily activities of the Facilities Engineering Department personnel and all functions relating to utilities & utility equipment management, facilities, buildings, grounds, clinical engineering, utilities and related equipment systems. The majority of the day to day oversight will be over Rockville General Hospital and Woodlake at Tolland facilities but will also help with other projects throughout the network based on review and oversight of the director.
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION :
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent : CHFM Certification or Bachelors degree in related field.
- Licensed in plumbing, electrical or HVAC or have a Professional Engineering Degree.
- A Connecticut driver's license is also required.
