We are GROWING and Under the Magic Pine Tree is looking for the perfect teacher to join our Pine Tree Family!

Full-Time Lead Preschool Teacher position available.

As a teacher at UTMPT you will

• Supervise and insure safety of children at all times.
• Plan and implement an enriching Reggio inspired curriculum that inspires and helps children develop and grow as individuals
• Plan and implement FUN activities and projects that support children's learning in the areas of many different cultures, holidays and values.
• Work with teaching team to set-up and maintain classroom.
• Work with your mentor teacher and QRIS coach to continually improve quality standards
• Attend all staff meetings, professional development training, set up / clean up days and team planning meetings.
• Have fun and MORE!

Qualifications and competencies :

• Must have classroom experience with young children, 1 year preferred.
• CDA or ECE degree preferred (if degree is not obtained we will pay for your tuition and books!)
• Must pass a background check
• Must obtain a TB clear test
• Must obtain a Nevada Registry certification within 90 days and complete continuing education provided for up to 30 hours per year there after.

Working Conditions / Physical requirements :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to :

Ability to lift and carry at least 30lbs and

Physical ability to sit on the floor or low chair and to squat down to be at eye level with children for up to 15 minutes at a time and

Ability to stand and walk for up to one hour at a time and

Level of physical fitness that allows for keeping pace with the activity level of young children.

Must love learning and inspiring children to learn and grow.

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time

Pay : $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
