Familiarity with SaaS architectures and shared responsibility models. Experience in vendor risk assessments, including SLA analysis and operational reliability. Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to create architectural diagrams. Proficient in Microsoft Word. Ability to influence without direct authority. Skilled at translating technical issues into regulatory-friendly language. Comfortable operating in high-pressure, high-visibility environments. Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with deep expertise in cloud and SaaS architectures to lead resiliency assessments and ensure alignment with organizational standards for reliability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
This role involves evaluating third-party vendor-hosted and SaaS solutions, documenting findings, and influencing stakeholders to drive remediation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed resiliency assessments for third-party vendor-hosted and SaaS solutions using Well-Architected Framework principles.
- Evaluate or develop architectural diagrams of external SaaS workloads to ensure alignment with resilience and continuity requirements.
- Assess vendor readiness for high availability, failover, data integrity, and recoverability.
- Review disaster recovery plans, backup procedures, SLA uptime guarantees, and validation routines.
- Document findings and remediation recommendations; track and report on vendor resilience posture, risk, and compliance status.
- Translate technical findings into business-friendly language for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure architectural consistency and regulatory alignment.
