Organization
OU Office of Admissions & Recruitment (OAR) works to bring in the next generation of Sooners. Our team operates from Norman as well as across the state, nation and world. We provide support to incoming domestic and international freshman and transfer students as they navigate the college application and decision process. Additionally, we partner with parents, counselors, and communities in providing resources to students interested in higher education. Our goal is to build a vibrant community with limitless potential by recruiting the most academically qualified students with a variety of educational, service, involvement and community experiences.

Responsibilities include :
Manages the marketing strategies, marketing communications, brand and design development, and any activities associated with the creation and promotion of marketing and public relations publications, campaigns, and projects within the Division of Enrollment Management. This includes digital and print marketing materials. This position’s focus is on project management, CRM merges, query development, and implementing brand-building strategies for the division.
- Responsible for planning and managing a contemporary, comprehensive, and proactive marketing and communication's strategy.
- Leads others in brainstorming, strategy, content creation, community management, reporting, and analysis.
- Oversees all marketing and branding, to include but not limited to print, spoken, electronic, and digital by creating compelling and dynamic content.
- Manages the creation of visual assets to ensure the university's strategic priorities are communicated well.
- Assists in the formulation, interpretation, and evaluation of policies and procedures.
- Supervises staff, to include but not limited to hiring, training, evaluating performance and disciplining.
- Builds queries and writes liquid markup for print distribution, CRM mailings, event badges, student timeline interactions, and publication data merges.
- Represents the office as a senior staff member at meetings and special events.
- Overseeing advertising and related budgets.
- Performs research, analyzes data and develops public relations and marketing plans.
- Edits, designs, writes, and proofs brochures, newsletters, and other publications.
- Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
Job Location
Required Education : Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field, AND :
Equivalency Substitution : Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 96 months related experience.
