Overview
Element has an opportunity for a NDT - Ultrasonic Inspector, Nas 410 Level I and Level II to perform Testing using specific techniques on aerospace products. Uses knowledge of products, manufacturing processes, equipment set-up, and NDT methods to process parts for inspection following specific operating procedures. Interprets and evaluates test results.
Responsibilities
Perform calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications
- Accurately record results and associated data of nondestructive tests and evaluations
- Maintain familiarity with the scope and limitations of the method of NDT being used and exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of Level I technicians.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Actively contribute to company safety culture by observing all company safety policies and procedures
- Use caution and proper handling of company property, equipment, tools, and customer product
- Maintain a high level of energy to deliver customer parts on time or ahead of schedule
