We are seeking an Entry-Level Transportation Engineer to join our Transportation Department in Manchester, NH and work as a member of a team on a variety of projects focusing on roadway and traffic design projects.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design and analysis of transportation systems, such as roadways, intersections, bike paths, and public transit infrastructure.
Perform traffic studies, collect data, and analyze results using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams, including urban planners, architects, and environmental scientists.
Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Support project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

EIT registration preferred

Intermediate skills in AutoCAD, MicroStation and Synchro preferred

Experience with construction and / or land surveying is a plus

Experience with NHDOT
