The Citywide Protection Unit is on the search for a dedicated and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team, providing unparalleled security services within the vibrant community of Sansom Park, Texas. • Responsibilities :
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas on foot and by vehicle to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances promptly.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Requirements :
• Proven experience as an armed security officer.
• Must be licensed to carry a firearm in Texas.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures / protocols.
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in security administration or similar field is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must reside in or near Sansom Park, Texas, to ensure quick response times and a strong understanding of the local community dynamics.
