Job description1-3 years of experience in technical support or a client-facing role (help desk, SaaS support, or similar). Understanding of internet technologies, REST APIs, and HTTP response codes. Familiarity with tools such as Postman, cURL, and browser developer tools for inspection of API requests and responses. Strong organization and problem-solving skills, along with the capability to manage multiple cases effectively. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach. Knowledge of authentication methods (OAuth, tokens, API keys). Exposure to JSON parsing or scripting with Python or JavaScript. Basic awareness of security concepts (HTTPS, encryption) and API workflows. The Entry-Level Technical Support Engineer will provide top-tier technical assistance to our customers and partners. In this hands-on role, you will diagnose and solve technical challenges, document your findings, and engage in troubleshooting, paving the way for growth into advanced integrations and API management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle customer inquiries via email, phone, and web tools, ensuring timely responses and adherence to service level agreements.
- Take part in a 24x7 support rotation and effectively escalate complex issues as necessary.
- Replicate customer issues and meticulously document your findings, including reproduction steps and system details.
- Support technical troubleshooting related to SaaS platform configurations and basic API functionality under guidance.
- Monitor and meet essential support metrics such as first-response times, resolution times, and customer satisfaction ratings.
- Identify patterns and recurring problems, sharing insights with support and product teams for continuous improvement.
- Help create and maintain knowledge-base articles to assist both customers and team members.
