Job Title: Accounting Data Entry SpecialistJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining financial and operational data within our ERP system. The successful candidate will assist with various administrative and accounting support tasks, providing a unique opportunity to gain exposure to ERP systems and the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain financial and operational data in the Foundations ERP system.
• Assist with bank reconciliations.
• Update and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
• Provide support during Workers’ Compensation audits.
• Update and track Certificates of Insurance.
• Assist with miscellaneous administrative and accounting support tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Comfortable with data entry and administrative tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Foundations ERP is preferred.
• Prior data entry or administrative support experience.
• Exposure to accounting systems or financial data.
• Construction industry experience.

Work Environment

This position operates in a small construction office setting with 5 days on site from 8am to 5pm. Candidates with Foundations experience may have the option to work fully remote, providing flexibility in work setup.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bladensburg, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
