Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist handles HR investigations, advises on best practices, manages HR systems, facilitates training, maintains records, assists with onboarding, and provides HR advisory services, including Immigration matters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters
- Generating official internal documents such as offer letters and warning letters
- Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
- Taking appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances
- Investigate sensitive and / or complex employee relations matters from start to finish, including conducting intake, leading interviews, note-taking, gathering and analyzing evidence (electronic, physical, etc.), documenting findings, and following up with the relevant parties.
- Discreetly handle sensitive and / or private information.
- Maintain and monitor business related immigration matters.
- Help create, conduct, and record staff and management training, including management of the ACTS training system
- Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to policy development
- Conduct other duties as necessary
