What you'll need to succeed as a Human Resources Specialist at XPO
Minimum qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 1 year of experience as a Human Resources Generalist or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with basic business operations and customer service principles, including planning, organizing, resource management, and leadership skills
- Knowledge of FMLA, LOA, and relevant state and federal employment laws
- Experience supporting employee relations and strategic HR initiatives, including handling sensitive and confidential information
- Proficiency in payroll software, HRIS programs, and Microsoft Office
- A valid driver's license
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends; available for travel 25-50% of the time
