Prefer Associates Degree or equivalent in electrical maintenance experience Be able to read, write, and speak English Bilingual a plus Computer literate and able to use existing systems and grow into company networked program of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes. Job Summary
An electrician performs all types of electrical jobs throughout assigned locations or region.Electrical jobs include maintenance and installation of equipment and machinery used in production and manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform electrical work and repairs on industrial / mining equipment
- Install, adjust and maintain all electrical equipment, gauges and instruments
- Troubleshoot, evaluate and coordinate electrical needs, repairs and modifications
- Ensure that manufacturers standards of repair and maintenance are performed on all equipment
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations at all times
- Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
- Meet or exceed company safety standards
- Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management
