Assist in the design of utility systems and manage permitting processes. Collaborate effectively with clients to ensure projects are innovative and efficient. You have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field 0-2 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design projects The aspiration to take the Professional Engineer ( exam within the next 4-5 years. You have strong prioritization skills and well-organized You possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities You are familiar with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and stormwater / utility modeling software, a plus. S&ME is seeking a recent graduate to join our Civil team in Charlotte, North Carolina as an Entry-Level Civil Engineer and help us provide engineering solutions to our clients.
What You Will Do :
As an Entry-Level Civil Engineer , you will be instrumental in designing and developing projects for Energy, Industrial, and Government clients. These projects include natural gas pipelines, electrical distribution and transmission systems, renewable energy facilities, landfills, mining operations, dams, water resources, and stream restoration. Under the mentorship of Professional Engineers, you will participate in conceptual design, engineering analysis, detailed calculations, and cost estimation.
