The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking an entry level Information Systems Engineer to help provide overall system integration support for a complex military development program with our C4ISR Division.
The Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems Division delivers mission-critical solutions, specializing in cyber operations, information architecture, strategic deterrence, and ISR. Our division’s commitment to innovation and security enables us to provide critical solutions across defense, intelligence, and national security. Responsibilities
- Analyzes, designs, and deploys physical and virtual Linux and Windows workstations and servers to satisfy program requirements
- Analyzes, designs, and implements Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to meet NIST-800-53 security controls
- Researches, designs, develops, and implements security controls, policies and procedures to ensure system hardware and software is in compliance with Department of Defense Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
- Conducts root cause analyses to identify and resolve technical deficiencies
- Develops and refines technical requirements and test plans to meet organization and customer standards
- Develops technical documentation to meet U.S. Air Force Configuration Control Board (CCB) standards
- Elicits, analyzes, and validates system requirements through stakeholder engagement and system analysis
- Identifies design gaps and potential risk areas through proactive risk gap analysis
- Develops and maintains requirements traceability and corresponding test procedures
- Works with internal and external customers to meet program requirements and schedules
- Works under minimal direction and independently determines and develops solutions and improvements
- Other duties, as assigned
