Job Title : Entry Level Mechanical Engineer

Job Description :

We are seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join our team as the first engineer on board. This position offers the unique opportunity to work directly under the Chief Technology Officer / Chief Engineer, contributing to the development of new products and playing a key role in building out our engineering department.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer / Chief Engineer to develop new products.

Assist in building and expanding the engineering department.

Utilize AutoCAD and other design software for mechanical design tasks.

Engage in mechanical engineering projects and tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in mechanical engineering principles.

Experience with mechanical design and AutoCAD.

Knowledge of new product development processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Internships or hands-on experience in a related field are preferred.

Eligibility for a DoD Security Clearance.

Work Environment

This position is on-site with a schedule of Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

This is a Permanent position based out of Portsmouth, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00 / hr.
