Senior Instrument Technician
A manufacturing company is in need of a qualified Senior Instrumentation Technician to calibrate, document, troubleshoot, and repair / replace instrumentation for systems that measure and control; level, temperature, pressure, flow, humidity, speed, time, and other process variables.
Responsibilities :
Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and maintain production instrumentation / equipment.
Ability to plan / estimate work and order parts.
Flexibility to work off-shift, weekends, and holidays based on production schedule demands.
Will also provide electronic support to all departments.
Requirements :
Associate Degree in Electrical Technology, Bachelor preferred
3+ years experience in a pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Proficient use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Advanced use of tools and equipment
Knowledge of the application of electric instruments and temperature / humidity controls.
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
Basic reading, writing, and verbal skills
Works well in a team environment and independently
