DH Pace Company, Inc. aspires to hire an Entry-Level Estimator for our Central Estimating Team in Olathe, Kansas. We are recruiting individuals that are great communicators, able to prioritize and multitask, and have a knack for numbers. Willing to train! Job Responsibilities :
- Learn to bid doors of all different types for new construction and aftermarket projects across the country (no travel required).
- Provide a superior level of communication with internal and external customers.
- Review construction drawings and specifications to determine bid strategies, quantities and costs.
- Create professional submittal and closeout documents.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously to completion.
- Remain involved with projects throughout the entire construction process.
- Create ideas that promote continuous improvement for the team and the company.
- Other duties may be assigned
Job Requirements :
Some of the candidates that have been most successful in this position type had zero construction experience. Instead, they had exceptional phone and email communications skills, were good at prioritization and time management, high attention to detail, strong basic computer skills, self-motivated and were always imagining new ways of making our team and processes better.
