Full Time, Salaried Position at Blount Design, Inc. in Atlanta / Decatur, GA.

What You’ll Do

At Blount Design, we are small and growing. You will work on multiple projects at various stages of the design process, while efficiently managing deadlines and unexpected challenges. You know how to communicate with a wide variety of clients, architects, vendors, and contractors, and enjoy working with people as much as design. You will also lend input to our systems and how we process and deliver our work. Your input will be valued.

Responsibilities :

• Lead project team in the creative process to meet client directives, standards, budget and schedule
• Prepare presentations for clients and brands, as needed
• Create client budgets and budget options
• Assist with client meetings
• Complete conceptual and schematic design phases
• Create FF&E specification packages
• Create full sets of ID documents to include plans, elevations, and details
• Work with procurement companies to ensure the purchasing process goes smoothly
• Responsible for project management, administration, and observation
• Process shop drawings and finish material submittals
• Responsible for effective delegation to other team members
• Travel as required on a per project basis
