Benefits :Job Summary
We are searching for experienced and reliable ironworkers for various structural and miscellaneous steel erection projects.
This specific project is at TSMC in north Phoenix. Scope of work is erecting trusses at the 100 elevation. Candidate must be able to work at heights and work off of the iron only. Due to the location of the trusses no equipment can be used for access.
Candidate must know the proper procedures for bolt up and tensioning of bolts as this is an opening for detail crew.
Candidate must be willing to work overtime as the site hours will range from 50-60Hrs a week.
- Immediate start is a plus.
- Knowledgeable in layout rigging connecting bolting and welding steel by following prints and instructions while guaranteeing all quality and safety standards are met.
- Cut position and bold down steel bars to reinforce concrete.
- Erect steel frames.
- Drill holes into steel for bolts.
- Bolt or weld pieces in place.
- Set reinforcing bars into forms to hold concrete.
- Tighten cables.
- Read and follow blueprints sketches and other instructions.
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Must be able to lift 70lbs and withstand the physical demands of erecting steel
- Possess an OSHA 10 or higher
