JavaScript Developer with TypeScript with .Net experience

Job Overview : We are seeking a skilled and dynamic JavaScript / TypeScript Developer with strong experience in .NET technologies to join our development team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of front-end development expertise using JavaScript / TypeScript and related frameworks, alongside back-end proficiency in .NET. This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the success of enterprise-level projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Front-End Development :
• Design and implement responsive user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Work with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) to create dynamic web applications.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience.
• Collaborate with UX / UI designers to integrate design concepts into functional web pages.
• Back-End Development :
• Develop and maintain server-side logic and database interactions using .NET (C#).
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Integrate front-end components with back-end services and databases.
• Work with SQL Server, Postgres or other relational databases to design, implement, and maintain data models.
• Full-Stack Integration :
• Collaborate with other developers to integrate front-end and back-end systems, ensuring seamless data flow and application functionality.
• Utilize Git, MS TFS, DevOps for version control and collaborate in a CI / CD pipeline to ensure code quality and deployment efficiency.
• Evaluate, write, test, and debug code using JavaScript / TypeScript .
• Develop and maintain automated testing for both front-end and back-end functionalities.
• Collaboration & Agile Methodology :
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews in an Agile / Scrum environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, QA, and designers) to define project requirements and technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Maintenance and Optimization :
• Perform regular code refactoring and performance optimizations for both client and server-side code.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in JavaScript and .NET development.
• Ensure all compliance and vulnerability concerns are remedied timely.

The annual salary for this position is between $57,000k - $67,000K, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual bonus, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
