Entry-Level CNC Machinist – Training Included

1st Shift : 6AM-2 : 30PM

n Pay Rate : $28-$30 Hourly

Job Summary :

nKelly Services, in partnership with Johnson & Johnson, is seeking an entry-level CNC Machinist with 1-2 years of experience, including exposure to Mastercam, to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their CNC machining skills with training included, and grow into a long-term role within the company. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a key role in fabricating prototype components while ensuring quality and precision in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities : n\n \n\t

• Set up, operate, and perform basic programming on CNC machinery such as HAAS VF3 with TR200 trunnion, HAAS Mini Mill, HAAS VF2, Mitsubishi EDM, and Citizen Swiss machines.\n\t
• Fabricate prototype components from metals, plastics, and other materials based on blueprints, models, and sketches.\n\t
• Review blueprints or drawings for machining capabilities and ensure compliance with specifications.\n\t
• Operate manual lathe, mills, drill presses, grinders, and CNC machining centers to produce precise parts.\n\t
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to produce tooling, fixtures, and parts.\n\t
• Maintain machinery cleanliness and efficiency to ensure optimal operation.\n\t
• Communicate issues or opportunities for improvement to management.\n\t
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.\n\t
• Adhere to safety, health, and environmental standards while complying with company procedures.\n

Work Environment :

nThis position is based in a machine shop environment, with a strong emphasis on safety. Some overtime may be required to meet production needs.
