Job Purpose
The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for staffing open Medical Scribe positions for all contracts. The primary role for the recruiter is to source and review applicants to ensure they meet the minimum hiring qualifications. The Recruiter will conduct phone screens and interviews as part of the onboarding process for day-to-day will also perform all needed onboarding requirements per site.
Duties and responsibilities
The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring that the best possible candidates are hired. He / she will manage and coordinate the full cycle of recruiting to make sure that each Medical Scribe is credentialed at their assigned site. He / she is also responsible for communicating all new hires to the scheduling and training Recruiter will also have additional responsibilities such as creating Training content and distribute training courses in a variety of topics including but not limited to HIPAA compliance and all aspects of Medical Charting in the Emergency setting and Specialty Clinics.
- Manages full cycle recruiting process to meet the staffing needs
- Review candidate applications using a recruiting platform
- Perform phone screens and interviews
- Create offer letters to qualified candidates
- Communicate with Scheduling team and Operations to discuss vacancy needs
- Develop working relationships with colleges to assist with recruiting needs and attend career fairs
- Obtain medical records and personal documents in employee files
- Attend weekly meetings with the HR Manger to discuss recruitment plans
- Engage with the onsite providers and staff to identify training needs
- Assist the HR Manager with additional responsibilities will be assigned
