Join Our Team as a Student Loan Counselor!

Position : Student Loan Counselor

Location : Remote MUST LIVE NEAR MADISON WISCONSIN

Type : Full-Time

Key Responsibilities :

• Start under the Default Guarantor Portfolio, managing older cohorts of borrowers (prior to 2010) who are 60 days past due.
• Make outbound calls using a dialer to educate borrowers on their loans, especially as the payment pause ends in September.
• Handle call volumes that can range from 40 to 100+ calls per week, with outbound calls initially and inbound training to follow.
• Deliver excellent customer service by answering phone calls and addressing inquiries related to file progression, title products, etc.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare mailings and process new orders received.
• Perform scanning and digital recordkeeping tasks to maintain organized and secure files.
• Verify and examine titles to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure legal descriptions, marital status, and notary accuracy are correct and match records.
• Ensure titles are free from restrictions or encumbrances that may hinder sales or usage.
• Finalize title insurance policies for both commercial and residential real estate transactions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50 / hr.
