Job Description
Job Description
LHH is seeking a Logistics Compliance Coordinator for an wonderful manufacturing company in Dunwoody. This employee will be responsible for overseeing carrier compliance, managing contracts, and ensuring safety and regulatory standards are met. This role includes validating signed contracts, insurance coverage, and safety compliance, as well as maintaining documentation. The coordinator will also work on logistics technology support and financial analysis to drive cost savings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Onboard and maintain contracts and compliance for third-party carriers.
Ensure private fleet compliance and safety according to FMCSA regulations (e.g., DQ files, ELD).
Support logistics technology platforms such as OTM, Omnitracs, and Lytx.
Assist with load board management and carrier sourcing opportunities.
Conduct financial / lane analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Conduct and manage carrier and vendor RFPs as needed.
Lead or support logistics projects and initiatives as assigned.
Update insurance certificates and maintain proper documentation within the TMS.
Communicate compliance status to division presidents and transportation managers.
Participate in automation projects, including working with RMIS during the pilot phase.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements :
Minimum of a two-year degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience / training.
General knowledge of carrier and fleet compliance requirements.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment :
The team works in the office two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday) and remotely on other days.
The team includes project managers, analysts, and engineers, each focusing on different functional areas within the business.
