We are currently recruiting an entry-level Logistics Coordinator. This is a great opportunity to build a career in logistics supporting the process and managing freight transfer across the country and globally. What You Will Be Doing As A Logistics Coordinator:
- Maintain and grow relationships with carriers and client contacts
- Analyze expenditures and other financial information to develop plans, policies, and budgets for increasing profits and improving services
- Negotiate and authorize contracts with equipment and materials suppliers, and monitor contract fulfillment
- Maintain regular contact with existing clients to determine their daily and weekly shipping needs, providing responsive customer service and resolving client issues quickly and effectively
- Collaborate with other managers and staff members to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives
- Oversee inventory of goods, vehicles, and personnel
- Manage activities throughout the order fulfillment cycle, ensuring that deadlines are met and policies/procedures are followed
