Join Lockheed Martin’s F-35 Manufacturing Engineering team and play a critical role in improving manufacturing quality and efficiency. As the SRR (Shop Replaceable Repair) Reduction Initiative Lead, you will drive initiatives to reduce Structures, Seam, and Composite defects, ensuring the highest standards of aircraft production.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Analyzing and identifying systemic defect trends related to aircraft structures, seams, and composites.
- Developing business cases to secure funding for corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leading cross-functional teams to implement corrective action plans, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
- Managing projects focused on defect reduction, tracking performance metrics, and reporting progress to stakeholders.
- Providing technical expertise in aircraft structures, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborating with production teams and leadership to integrate defect reduction strategies into broader program objectives.
