An Entry-Level Mechanical Design Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Lexington, KY. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will need a Bachelor"s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline, zero to five years of experience, and be able to report to & work out of the Lexington, KY office. You will be responsible for designing airframe and / or dynamic components for some of the most advanced aircrafts in the country.

Job Duties :

• Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings of components for rotorcraft, fixed-wing, and / or space design in static airframe and / or dynamic environments
• Create and maintain corresponding BOMs (Bill-of-Materials)
• Operate within provided PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tool
• Demonstrate ability to receive work direction, coordinate with leadership to help formulate solution paths, communicate technical information effectively, and interface with multiple disciplines
• Manage time efficiently and produce technically accurate engineering packages within allotted budgets.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $58,240 to $66,560. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
