Mechanical Assembler Location: Lenexa, KS Job ID: #71908 Pay Range: $19-21 Job Description: Join our innovative team as a Mechanical Assembler I where you will play a crucial role in assembling high-pressure oxygen cylinders in a large-scale manufacturing environment. This position operates on a 4x10 schedule, Monday-Thursday with the possibility of required overtime. What You Will Do: Precision Assembly: Utilize hand tools such as torque wrenches, crowfoot wrenches, and allen wrenches for daily assembly tasks. Measurement & Inspection: Employ measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and standard rulers, to ensure products meet specifications. Blueprints & Instructions: Follow blueprints and operation sheets for standard work instructions in assembling products. Equipment Adjustment: Adjust equipment based on test results and a thorough understanding of processes and machinery. Testing & Recording: Conduct tests for oxygen purity and moisture content at various stages of the process, recording gauge readings and test results. Compliance & Safety: Adhere to PPE and cleanroom standards to prevent foreign objects and debris from contaminating products. Quality & Safety Standards: Perform all tasks in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work area. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a standing position for up to 10 hours per day. Other Duties: Perform additional job duties as assigned. Qualifications You Must Have: HS diploma or GED. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
