Job description
A company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer 3.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, design, and improve mechanical and thermal systems focusing on alarm behavior and performance
Review and optimize alarm setpoints, delays, deadbands, and suppression logic to reduce nuisance alarms
Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to drive alarm quality improvements
Required Qualifications
5-7 years of professional mechanical engineering experience
2-3 years of alarm management experience, including setpoint reviews and alarm tuning
Background in datacenters, Oil & Gas, power generation, nuclear, chemical, or other mission critical industries
Ability to analyze mechanical / thermal systems and translate findings into actionable alarm strategies
Proficiency interpreting schematics, P&IDs, instrumentation details, and BAS / controls behavior
