Director of Engineering - Mechanical

Location : North Dallas Area, Texas (ON SITE)

Our client, a leading Design and Engineering firm with a national presence, is seeking a Director of Engineering - Mechanical to join their esteemed team in Dallas, TX. This senior leadership role involves managing a team of engineers and overseeing all mechanical engineering aspects for commercial construction projects.

The Director will ensure that projects meet design and building codes while leading and mentoring a team of engineers. Known for delivering outstanding design solutions through advanced technology and innovative engineering, the firm offers a dynamic environment where leadership and technical expertise are key. Skills and Experience Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects, preferably in the Education, Healthcare and Aviation sectors
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Trane Trace, or HAP software
• Proficiency in Revit is also strongly desired
• Familiarity with regulatory standards
• Proven track record in managing engineering teams and projects, demonstrating leadership and mentorship abilities
• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to exceeding client expectations and delivering successful project outcomes
