Key Responsibilities
- Draft and prosecute patent applications in mechanical, electrical, and computer science disciplines.
- Conduct prior art searches, analyze patent and scientific literature, and prepare freedom-to-operate and clearance opinions.
- Respond to USPTO and international office actions, including analyzing references and crafting persuasive arguments.
- Collaborate with inventors and in-house counsel to understand new technologies and develop tailored patent strategies.
- Contribute to the development and management of client IP portfolios.
- Present findings and strategies clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in a collaborative work environment, with approximately 60% in-office participation expected.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a closely related field.
- Registered or eligible for registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Team player with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Base salary range: $120,000 - $220,000
- Annual bonus eligibility.
- Comprehensive benefits package offered.
