What You Will Do :

  • Support our planning and economic development team with general planning services to our municipal clients
  • Specific work tasks include :

Data analysis and collection

  • Review of land use applications
  • Preparation of staff reports
  • Plan and ordinance writing
  • Code / zoning enforcement
  • Community engagement
  • Other duties related to planning and economic development

    • What You Will Bring :

  • Four-year degree in urban planning or a related field
  • Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a similar field desired
  • 1-2 years experience required
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Desire to work to grow the Community Planning business
  • Strong presentation and writing skills
  • Proven abilities in leadership facilitating commission / council meetings relationship-building a positive attitude and a passion for your work are also required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% within the Twin City Metro
  • Ability to work in the posted location
