Description : Medical Biller
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Biller to join our team at Bernens Medical & Pharmacy . The Medical Biller will play a crucial role in managing billing processes for our medical equipment and supply services. This position involves submitting claims, processing recurring orders, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, processing payments, and maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and submit accurate medical billing claims to insurance companies and third-party payers.
- Review and verify patient information, insurance coverage, and billing codes for accuracy.
- Process monthly recurring orders for supplies and equipment.
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies with insurance companies and patients.
- Manage payments, refunds, and adjustments, maintaining accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with equipment, delivery, customer service, and pharmacy staff to ensure proper documentation for billing and compliance purposes.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in healthcare regulations and billing procedures.
- Assist patients with billing inquiries and provide clear explanations of coverage and eligibility.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records and financial information.
Requirements :
Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday 9am- 7pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 9am-1pm. Closed on all major holidays.
