A company is looking for a Medical Coder Risk Adjustment. Key Responsibilities Conduct retrospective medical record reviews and validate diagnosis codes Determine the need for additional documentation and ensure compliance with CMS requirements Collaborate with multiple departments to support risk adjustment efforts Required Qualifications, Training, and Education High School Diploma or equivalent Current CPC or AHIMA CCS credential is required CRC Certification training to begin within 6 months post hire 2+ years of recent experience in medical record review, diagnosis coding, and / or auditing An associate degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
