Overview : ABOUT THE POSITION

VHBs Watertown, MA office is looking for an Entry Level Transportation Engineer to join our Transportation Planning and Operations group. The selected candidate will work with a dynamic team of transportation planners and engineers on a variety of public, private, and institutional projects within broad cross-section of markets, including real estate municipal, state agencies, higher education, federal lands and aviation. Our team uses its skills and experience to improve our communities with a sustainable, context-driven and integrated project delivery approach. Our clients include municipalities, MassDOT and other state agencies, and private partners who support the development of the places we live, work, recreate and learn.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of professionals in a variety of transportation-related areas to develop mobility solutions for all users
• Conduct multi-modal transportation analyses
• Conduct safety research and assessments
• Perform field observations and site visits
• Prepare transportation impact, corridor and intersection improvement studies
• Planning / conceptual design of transportation engineering and planning projects
• Conduct research and preparation of reports, and presenting findings and results to clients

Skills and Attributes

Qualifications

Hiring Salary Range - $75,000 - 81,000. However, the final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, and experience.
