Job Title : 1st Shift Receiving Clerk

Job Description

A distribution company that manufactures automotive parts is seeking a long-term receiving clerk / warehouse worker for the first shift. The role involves receiving and restocking inventory, dispatching, and managing overstock.

Responsibilities

• Receive and restock inventory
• Load and unload materials from trucks
• Break down boxes and package items for shipment
• Use order rolling stairs, pickers, and RF scanners to fulfill orders
• Assist Warehouse Supervisors as needed
• Pick orders utilizing stairs to reach material for the automotive industry (rolling stairs may range from 7-15 steps long)

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually high due to forklifts and other machinery running through the facility. The first shift schedule is Monday through Friday from 5 AM to 1 : 30 PM, with mandatory overtime up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays. Employees must wear plain shirts, jeans (without holes), and closed-toed shoes. Logos for beer, alcohol, etc., are not allowed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 / hr.
