Texas A&M University's Technology Services is actively seeking an Entry-Level IT Professional to join our team for an onsite position here in College Station, Texas!
This is an opportunity to kickstart your career in IT and provide technical support to the students, faculty, and staff of the College of Education! In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide local IT support to our customers, troubleshooting a variety of devices, operating systems, and applications.
Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do :
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems
Install, upgrade, and configure workstations and software
Provide resource estimates and progress reports
Ensure security of customer data and applications
Provide detailed documentation for services provided
Participating in training and professional development opportunities
This entry-level position offers you the opportunity to gain experience across multiple technical fields, expanding your skill set and setting the foundation for a successful career in IT. As you evolve in your role, you will have the chance to leave a lasting imprint on our student’s live by managing and mentoring our IT student workers.

Salary : $47, annually
This position is expected to be onsite in College Station, Texas.
Qualifications
A bachelor's or equivalent combination of education and experience AND four months (1 semester) of student worker or customer service experience.
A well-qualified candidates would also possess one or more of the following : Cross-disciplined IT skills, report writing skills, intermediate troubleshooting experience, experience with client relations, idea contribution, and knowledge ITIL.
