Job Description

SUMMARY

Directs the activities of the Production group. Responsible for maintaining production schedules, safety and ensuring that quality standards are adhered to by the group.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment and Retention :

• Conduct in person interviews and make hiring decisions.
• Communicate criteria to recruiters for ideal candidates.
• Coach support department staff in the interviewing / hiring process.
• Monitor team member turnover; identify key factors that can be improved; make improvements.

TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree preferred; and three years experience in manufacturing management; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Hands-on experience in manufacturing environment and knowledge of, process optimization. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial manufacturing as it pertains to final assembly.
